Donald Drawdy served many years on the Florida Tropical Fish Farmers Association's board of directors. He was President of the Association for a period of time and on the Florida Farm Bureau board of directors for many years. Florida Tropical Fish Farmers Association inducted Drawdy into the Hall of Fame in 2007.
After serving four years in the United States Marine Corps, their son, Mike Drawdy came back to the farm. He grew up on the farm and decided this is what he wanted to do. Ornamental fish are his passion, and he devotes himself to the promotion of tropical fish in many ways. Mike is currently serving as a director on the board of the Florida Tropical Fish Farmers Association. He has also served on the board of directors for the Florida Farm Bureau.
In 41 years of selling tropical fish we have never placed a paid advertisement. Our sales have always been from someone seeing our fish or by word of mouth. In our increasing competitive business, we feel the need to display our fish on a website to let people see our quality and the new varieties we produce. Our goal is to provide the tropical fish hobbyist with the best and newest varieties. This will increase interest and keep enjoyment in aquariums.
